OVERVIEW
Restoration Systems was contracted in Summer of 2019 to perform exterior masonry and stone rehabilitation at the 425 Washington Avenue Building in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Restoration Systems Inc. worked intimately with the City of Minneapolis and its Heritage Preservation Commission to ensure the project met and followed the Minneapolis Warehouse Historic Design Guidelines and the rehabilitation guidelines of The Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. The extent of the repairs consisted of removing and tucking back exterior mortar, brick replacement on the building’s exterior, and exterior stone patching.
