OVERVIEW

Restoration Systems was contracted in the Fall of 2023 to perform exterior envelope repairs at the Kenilworth Square Apartments. Restoration Systems Inc. worked with UW Milwaukee, WI Division of Facilities Development, and Design Professional to execute the work with limited interruption to the commercial occupants as well as students.  RSI utilized a recycled crushed glass aggregate to remove approximately 30,000 SF of a failed coating system on the concrete façade. Once the coating was removed, RSI performed epoxy injections, sealant replacement, and vertical and overhead concrete repairs. After the repairs were completed, a new mineral-based coating was applied to the structure.
