OVERVIEW

Restoration Systems Inc. was contracted by the Metropolitan Airport Commission to perform parking ramp restoration at the Minneapolis – St. Paul International Airport parking ramps in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The existing parking ramps were in need of sealant and expansion joint replacements along with associated concrete repairs and corrosion inhibitive sealer. Inverted tees beams supported by concrete haunches were in need of replacement. 25 additional concrete haunches were installed at column locations with post-tensioned rods.

Electrical and mechanical upgrades were included within this contract. Several expansion joint replacement details at stair towers and helix entrances were modified during construction by RSI suggestion and have since been included in future repairs.
